Our office is located in Baton Rouge, offering access to the city s vibrant local culture, including parade groups, football, and music scenes. While our practice is primarily Medicaid, we take pride in providing comprehensive, compassionate care to every child, and we operate in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
We are looking for a pediatric-focused associate who is passionate about treating children, enjoys restorative dentistry, and thrives in a challenging but rewarding clinical environment.
34% of net production
$800/day guarantee for first 90 days (optional; adjusted production is typical)
Expected earnings: $200,000 $400,000+, depending on provider experience
Continuing Education (CE): Available to support professional growth
Insurance: Group health with employer contribution toward employee coverage
401(k): 50% match, up to $1,200/year, eligible after 1 year
Signing Bonus (Optional): Up to $20,000 for a 2-year commitment (terms apply)
Note: PTO/holiday pay is not offered; our focus is on patient care and maximizing clinical opportunity.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:45 am 3:45 pm | Option for 4-day weeks or occasional early/late start for OCS days
Procedures: Composite fillings, composite crowns, prefabricated crowns, extractions, pulpotomy/pulpectomy, oral conscious sedation (OCS)
Mentorship: Informal guidance and support
New Grads: Conditional pediatric experience and comfort with high-need patients strongly preferred
Technology: Digital radiographs (sensors/2D pan), Dentrix Enterprise EMR, quality lab equipment and consumables
Pediatric-focused dentist with experience in oral conscious sedation and hospital case management
Strong restorative skills; comfortable with challenging patient demographics
Empathetic and mission-driven: passionate about helping children, not solely focused on financial gain
Team player, respectful, organized, and professional
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with staff
Laid-back, team/family-oriented environment
High level of autonomy for the associate dentist
Emphasis on compassionate care and equitable treatment for all patients
